The Sales Analyst will report directly to the VP of Sales and is expected to work closely with both inside and field sales to help qualify and develop and win net- new and add-on sales opportunities. The Sales Analyst will also be a post-sales resource with the goal of developing a mature and reference-able customer base.
The primary role of the sales analyst is to assist the RSMs in their on-going sales efforts. Specifically the Sales Analyst will be expected to:
- Assist the RSMs in the creation of pre-sales engagement strategies
- Conduct on-site and web demonstrations and technical product reviews
- Create a repeatable discovery process for the purpose of gathering information about the customer’s environment. The Sales Analyst will then lead the discovery process and document findings for use in the ROI/Proposal.
- Develop Return on Investment (ROI) tools for use in quantifying the value of CenterBridge in the prospects’ environment
- Assist in presenting back discovery and ROI results to prospects
- Assist in development of proposals with a focus on the services SOW for implementation
- Ensure that prospects’ environments are ready for implementation
- Check proposals to ensure that the suggested configuration is correct for the prospect’s environment and business problem
- Build relationships with users/buyers in the pre- and post-sales phases
- Create various sales tools to help customers justify the purchase of CenterBridge
- Assist the services delivery group in streamlining implementation process and helping to create additional post sales services products.
In addition to the above pre-sales activities, the Sales Analyst is also expected to assist in the post-sales account management process. The Sales Analyst is expected to work closely with both the customer and Bay Bridge implementation teams to ensure smooth delivery and rapid acceptance.
The Sales Analyst may be called on to deliver post sales implementation guidance and to help trouble shoot and repair problem account situations.
The Sales Analyst will be expected to play a critical post-sale customer management role which may include proposing post-sales training, additional services work and cross sell product opportunities.
The Sales Analyst is expected to use Salesforce.com and to document current activities and account status is Salesforce.com.
The Sales Analyst will also perform other duties as assigned.
